ATTICS – DESIGNING, CONSTRUCTING, INHABITING
Under this title, DETAIL has brought out a publication on the subject of the sloping roof. It includes not only comprehensive planning information but also a project catalogue with implemented examples such as our project “Wohn- und Geschäftshaus Hohenzollernstraße” (residential and business property) in Munich.

SKIING TRIP 2018
This year, our skiing trip took us to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The weather god was kind and gave us a wonderful day in the mountains.
Neuperlach 2040 Utopia
As part of the annual exhibition “München weiterdenken” (Munich – thinking one step further), there will be a movie night on 6 March, 2018 in the town hall gallery at Marienplatz. Master students of the TU Munich will be showing their visions for the Munich suburb of Neuperlach – in short animated films, they have created different scenarios for the year 2040. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Andreas Müsseler and others.

The third man
How to treat existing buildings is the primary construction task of the future. As part of the DETAIL event, Andreas Müsseler will be giving a talk titled “Zukunft Bestand: Umbauen, Umnutzen, Umdenken” (the future: reconstruction, conversion, rethinking) at the Bautec fair Berlin 2018, followed by a panel discussion.

DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT, OBERSENDLING – THE FORMER SIEMENSLAND
As part of the annual exhibition “München weiterdenken” (Munich – thinking one step further), there will be a town walk through Obersendling on 2 February, 2018. During this walk, the residential buildings being put up will be discussed – e.g., the renovation of the former Siemens high-rise “South One”; presentation by Oliver Noak.

AMBITIONS ON DIFFICULT TERRAIN
Under this title, the magazine Bauwelt 01/2018 reports on the competition for the new Munich concert hall and presents our contribution in addition to the prizes and awards in a further selection.

DÖRNBERG DISTRICT BUILDING SITE
The buildings designed by Meili, Peter München for the Georgenhof in the Dörnberg district of Regensburg are currently being constructed.

PHOTO SHOOTING
The shelves we designed were the main characters in the big photo shooting of the Bavarian carpentry trade association in our offices. The resulting photo will now be used as the campaign motif of the trade association and the guilds.
